7 Ways To Differentiate Between A Real iPhone from a Fake one.

Technology has taken humans on another scale altogether. thanks to this development in technology, we have iPhones. But having said that, this growth in technology is also responsible for fake iPhones as well. So how to differentiate between the two? We'll tell you!

Serial Number

Serial Number is of utmost importance if you wanna check the authenticity of your phone! Every iPhone has a serial number that identifies it. Locate the serial number on the iPhone by tapping “Settings > General > About > Serial Number.” This number must be verified from the Apple official website! Simple!

Check Siri

You can in fact check for Siri as well! The most important feature that would be absent in a fake iPhone is Siri. If its faulty or absent, your phone is fake!

Check the Physical Buttons

One of the biggest flaws in a fake iPhone is the positioning of all the physical buttons! In an original iOS device, the sleep/wake button is on the top right corner, while the volume switch and ringer slider are on the upper left side. If the buttons are placed somewhere else, then it is a guarantee that the device is fake. Check it!

External Memory Card Slot

Apple iPhone 6S or later models have no external memory card slots like their predecessors. So if yours has one, laugh out loud and throw it in a bin because you've been duped!

Pentalobe Screws

Here's another very important tip you should keep in mind! To identify a fake iPhone, check its screws. Apple uses the Pentalobe screws in real iPhones, whereas a fake iPhone just has normal cross screws.

Applications

Like a lot of other smartphones, the iPhone arrives with native or built-in Apple-branded apps. Unless an iPhone is jailbroken, these apps cannot be removed. Some examples of built-in applications include “Contacts,” “Compass,” “Settings,” “Calculator,” “Music” and “Photos.” In case of any of these apps are missing, remember to give it back!

Packaging Box Of Apple iPhone

And finally, packaging says it all! The build and quality of both boxes can be very similar, but there will always be a slight difference in the box sizes. The real box is compact whereas the fake one will tend to be larger.

=Look for Apple logo and its color on the box as well!
